Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
At Eco-Path Adventures Limited, we are committed to ensuring your travel experience is smooth, transparent, and well-organized. We understand that plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances, and this policy outlines our booking, payment, cancellation, and refund terms.
By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
1. Booking Process
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the agreed deposit (30%–50%).
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- Bookings must be made through official Eco-Path Adventures communication channels only.
2. Payment Terms
Deposit Payment
- A 30%–50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Certain activities (e.g., balloon safaris, park permits, special experiences) require 100% non-refundable payment at the time of booking.
Final Payment
- The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the travel date.
- For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
Payment Methods
We accept the following payment options:
- Bank Transfer (all bank charges are the responsibility of the sender)
- Mobile Money (M-Pesa)
- Online Payments (Pesapal)
3. Cancellation, Postponement & Refund Policy
- 60 days or more before travel: 100% refund less transaction charges
- 30 to 59 days before travel: 50% refund less transaction charges
- Less than 14 days before travel or no-show: No refund
Please note: Some services such as accommodation, flights, park fees, and special activities may be non-refundable once booked. These will always be communicated at the time of booking.
4. No-Show Policy
Failure to join the tour on the scheduled departure date will be treated as a no-show and will not be eligible for any refund.
5. Changes by the Customer
- Any amendment requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.
- Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the change.
- Partial cancellations may incur fees for the affected services.
6. Cancellation by Eco-Path Adventures Limited
In rare cases, Eco-Path Adventures Limited may cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other events beyond our control), or insufficient participation.
In such cases, clients will be offered:
- A full refund of the package cost, or
- An alternative tour of equal value (subject to availability)
Eco-Path Adventures Limited will not be liable for additional costs such as international flights, ETA, or personal expenses.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within up to 30 working days. We aim to process refunds as quickly as possible once confirmed.
8. Travel Credit Policy
- Approved cancellations or postponements may be converted into travel credit upon agreement.
- Travel credits are valid for up to 12 months, unless otherwise agreed or subject to third-party supplier conditions.
- A credit note will be issued with full details and validity period.
- Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Any credit without an agreed validity period will expire after 3 months.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
10. Policy Updates
Eco-Path Adventures Limited reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
