Day 01: Welcome to Kenya

Your family adventure begins the moment you arrive in Nairobi. After a warm welcome at the airport, you are transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and unwind after your journey. The day is intentionally relaxed, allowing everyone to adjust to the rhythm of Kenya. As evening falls, excitement begins to build for the unforgettable experiences that lie ahead.

Day 02: Gentle Introduction to Nairobi

Today unfolds slowly, giving the family time to relax and ease into the adventure. Enjoy a leisurely morning before heading out to discover some of Nairobi’s unique attractions. Children delight in feeding graceful giraffes, while a visit to a women’s bead workshop reveals beautiful handmade crafts and inspiring stories of community empowerment. It is a wonderful introduction to Kenya’s wildlife and culture.

Day 03: Journey to the Wild North – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Leaving the city behind, your journey takes you north through Kenya’s scenic highlands where lush landscapes gradually open into the wild beauty of Laikipia. Upon arrival in the conservancy, the first safari begins. Elephants wander through golden grasslands, giraffes move gracefully across the plains, and the possibility of spotting lions or rhinos adds to the excitement of the day. The African wilderness begins to reveal its magic.

Day 04: Conservation and Wildlife Encounters

Today offers a deeper connection to wildlife and conservation. Morning safari drives reveal the diverse animals that call this conservancy home. You will also encounter inspiring conservation stories, including the world’s last northern white rhinos and rescued chimpanzees. Between wildlife encounters, the family has time to relax and absorb the peaceful surroundings of the African bush.

Day 05: Into the Great Rift Valley – Lake Nakuru

The journey continues south into the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru welcomes you with acacia woodlands and sweeping lake views. This park is known for its thriving rhino population and rich birdlife. During your safari, you may encounter rhinos grazing quietly, lions resting beneath the trees, and flocks of flamingos painting the lake’s edge pink.

Day 06: Journey to the Legendary Maasai Mara

Today the road leads toward one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations — the Maasai Mara. Rolling savannahs stretch endlessly into the horizon, dotted with acacia trees and roaming wildlife. Your first safari here offers a glimpse of the abundance of life on these plains where elephants, lions, cheetahs, and countless other animals thrive.

Day 07: The Rhythm of the Mara

Today unfolds at a gentle safari pace. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal the incredible diversity of wildlife across the savannah. Between adventures, the family relaxes and enjoys the peaceful atmosphere of the bush. Watching wildlife move across the plains as the sun begins to set is a moment few families ever forget.

Day 08: Deep Exploration of the Savanna

With another full day in the Mara, there is no rush. The family may enjoy longer game drives, tracking predators or watching herds of grazing animals moving across the plains. Picnic breakfasts in the wilderness and peaceful sundowners overlooking the vast savannah create unforgettable safari memories.

Day 09: Lakeside Escape – Lake Naivasha

Leaving the Mara behind, the journey continues to the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha. In the afternoon, you glide across the lake on a boat safari, watching hippos resting in the water and fish eagles soaring overhead. Later, a walking safari on an island sanctuary allows the family to stroll among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a peaceful natural setting.

Day 10: Adventure in Hell’s Gate National Park

Today brings a different kind of safari adventure. Hell’s Gate National Park allows families to explore nature on foot or by bicycle. Towering cliffs, dramatic rock formations, and wildlife roaming freely create an exciting outdoor playground. Hiking through the gorge and cycling across the park offers a sense of adventure rarely experienced on safari.

Day 11: The Elephants of Amboseli

Your journey continues south toward Amboseli National Park, a land famous for its majestic elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The open plains create perfect wildlife viewing opportunities as elephants roam against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain.

Day 12: Safari Beneath Kilimanjaro

Today is dedicated to exploring Amboseli’s rich wildlife habitats. Game drives reveal large elephant families, graceful giraffes, lions, and abundant birdlife. From scenic viewpoints, the sweeping plains stretch beneath the towering peak of Kilimanjaro, creating one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.

Day 13: Hidden Safari Gem – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

The adventure continues to the scenic Taita Hills where a private wildlife sanctuary offers a more intimate safari experience. Rolling hills, open plains, and waterholes attract a variety of wildlife. Afternoon safaris reveal elephants, buffalo, antelope, and perhaps lions moving through the sanctuary.

Day 14: Day and Night in the Wilderness

Today allows deeper exploration of this unique sanctuary. Morning and afternoon safaris bring close encounters with wildlife, while the evening introduces the excitement of a night game drive where nocturnal animals begin their secret lives under the African sky.

Day 15: Journey to the Indian Ocean

After days of safari adventure, the journey shifts toward the coast. Traveling to the Indian Ocean reveals a completely different side of Kenya — white sandy beaches, palm trees, and turquoise waters. The afternoon is spent relaxing by the ocean, letting the gentle rhythm of the waves replace the sounds of the savannah.

Day 16: Ocean Adventures

Today invites pure relaxation or exciting ocean activities. Snorkeling among coral reefs, dolphin watching, or simply enjoying the warm tropical waters makes for a perfect family day by the sea.

Day 17: Coastal Culture and Sunset Magic

Another slow day on the coast allows your family to explore local markets, discover coastal culture, or enjoy a traditional dhow cruise as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

Day 18: Nature and Beach Time

Spend the day swimming, relaxing, or exploring the coastal forests and hidden nature trails nearby. The calm pace allows everyone to fully unwind after the safari journey.

Day 19: A Perfect Farewell to Kenya

Your final full day in Kenya is a celebration of the journey you have shared as a family. Relax by the ocean, take one last swim in the warm waters, and reflect on the incredible wildlife, landscapes, and memories created along the way.

Day 20: Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final moment by the ocean before beginning your journey home. You will be transferred to Mombasa Airport for your onward flight, either connecting to Nairobi for your international departure.
