Day 01: Arrival in Nairobi – Gentle Start to Your Journey

Arrive in Nairobi and enjoy a seamless transfer to your boutique hotel or serene retreat. This first day is intentionally slow, giving you time to rest, recover from travel, and ease into the rhythm of your Kenyan experience. Enjoy a nourishing meal, light stretching, or quiet relaxation as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 02: Journey to Samburu National Reserve – Cultural Welcome & First Safari

After breakfast, depart for Samburu, a unique and less-traveled region known for its rare wildlife and rich cultural heritage. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by a slow afternoon to settle in. Later, head out to visit a local Samburu village where you’ll experience traditional dances and cultural expression. Day 03: Safari, Wellness & Connection in Samburu National Reserve

After lunch, set out once again for an afternoon game drive, deepening your exploration of Samburu’s unique landscapes and rare species. As evening settles in, transition into a calming wellness experience with yoga and meditation, allowing your body to unwind after the day’s adventures. The night concludes around a warm bonfire, where you can engage in quiet journaling and reflection, creating space for meaningful connection—with nature, the moment, and yourself.

Day 04: Reteti Elephant Sanctuary & Cultural Immersion

Start your day with early morning yoga and breakfast before departing with a packed lunch for a meaningful day trip to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. Here, you’ll learn about community-led conservation and the rehabilitation of orphaned elephants. Engage with local initiatives and gain insight into Samburu culture and sustainability efforts. Return to camp in the evening for meditation, storytelling, and journaling around the bonfire—reflecting on the day’s impactful experiences.

Day 05: Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Conservation & Wildlife

After breakfast, depart Samburu and journey south through the scenic landscapes of Laikipia toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy—one of Kenya’s most renowned private conservancies, celebrated for its groundbreaking conservation work and protection of endangered species, including the last remaining northern white rhinos. Arrive in time for a relaxed lunch at your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, head out for a guided game drive across the conservancy, where you may encounter rhinos, elephants, lions, and a diverse range of wildlife, all within a landscape dedicated to sustainable conservation and community impact.

Day 06: To Lake Nakuru National Park – Rift Valley Landscapes

After breakfast, your journey unfolds through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, one of the world’s most remarkable geological features. As you descend into the valley, you’ll pass panoramic viewpoints, rolling escarpments, and vast open plains dotted with farms and small settlements—offering a scenic and reflective drive that perfectly complements the slow travel experience.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time to check in at your lodge, where you can take a moment to relax and absorb the tranquil surroundings before heading out again. In the late afternoon, set off on an evening game drive, when the light softens and wildlife becomes more active. The park is renowned for its vibrant birdlife, including flocks of flamingos that often line the lake’s shores, as well as its protected populations of white and black rhinos. You may also encounter giraffes, buffalo, and other plains game as you explore the park’s diverse ecosystems.

Day 07: Naivasha Day Experience & Soft Adventure

Begin your day with an early morning yoga session, gently awakening your body as the sun rises over the Rift Valley. This quiet moment in nature allows for mental clarity and presence before transitioning into your day’s adventure.

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a full-day excursion to Hell’s Gate National Park, one of the few parks in Kenya that invites you to explore on foot or by bicycle. Cycle through dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, and geothermal landscapes, creating a more immersive and active connection with the environment.

Later, continue to Lake Naivasha for a peaceful boat ride, gliding past hippos and abundant birdlife in a tranquil setting. This is followed by a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelope in an open and scenic landscape.

Return to Nakuru in the evening, where the day gently winds down, allowing you to rest, relax, and reflect on a day that beautifully blends movement, nature, and mindful exploration.

Day 10: Return to Nairobi & Flight to the Coast

Begin your day with an early morning yoga, meditation, and journaling session overlooking the vast savannah, as the rising sun casts golden light across the landscape. After breakfast, transfer back to Nairobi and proceed to Wilson Airport for your flight to Malindi. Upon arrival, continue your journey to Watamu, a serene coastal destination known for its pristine beaches and vibrant marine life. Check into your beachfront resort and begin your coastal retreat, where the rhythm of the ocean invites relaxation and renewal.
