DAY 01: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Samburu National Reserve. The drive from Nairobi to Samburu offers scenic views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes from bustling cityscapes to the serene countryside. Upon arrival, you will settle into your accommodation and enjoy lunch. Embark on your first game drive in Samburu. Keep an eye out for unique species like the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx and the gerenuk. Return to your accommodation, unwind, and enjoy dinner while overlooking the beautiful landscapes. Dinner and overnight at Samburu simba lodge.

DAY 02: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Have breakfast, check out and transfer to Lake Nakuru National park. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large flocks of flamingos, Pelicans and other water birds. Also look out for bird species like the Great White Pelican, African Fish Eagle and various species of kingfishers. The park features the picturesque Makalia Waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild Giraffes. Among predators are lions, leopards, large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Return to your lodge/hotel for dinner and relaxation.Dinner and overnight at Hotel citymax.

DAY 03: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at Maasai Mara, check-in at your camp/lodge, and have lunch. Maasai Mara is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, Big Five, Scenic Landscapes and Cultural Heritage. Embark on your first game drive, looking out for the Big Five animals [leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos] and the Ugly Five animals [hyenas, wildebeests, warthogs, vultures & marabou stork]. Return to your camp/lodge for dinner and relaxation.Dinner and overnight at Orng’atuny mara camp.

DAY 04: FULL DAY IN MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Start with a sunrise game drive. Early hours are prime for spotting predators like lions and leopards. Enjoy breathtaking sunrise over Mara plains.  Visit a traditional Maasai village in the afternoon to learn about their customs and participate in activities like beadwork and traditional dances [optional].  Head out for another game drive focusing on different areas of the reserve. Enjoy a sundowner, a refreshing drink served in the bush while taking in the stunning views [optional]. You can also have an optional hot air balloon safari, which offers unique perspective of the Mara and its Wildlife. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 05: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE– LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and embark on the journey to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation and have lunch. Explore the Lake to spot hippos, bird species like African Eagles, Cormorants and Pelicans and other wildlife that inhabit the area. Enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, a privately owned sanctuary on Lake Naivasha known for its walking safaris among zebras, giraffes and numerous bird species. In the evening enjoy dinner and overnight at hotel city max.

DAY 06: LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Depart Lake Naivasha for Amboseli National Park and drive for about 5 to 6 hours. Arrive in Amboseli National Park, check-in at your lodge. Enjoy a late lunch at the lodge and settle in. Embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. Explore the park's diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and zebras, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop. Return to nyati camp for dinner and relaxation, enjoying the serene evening under the African sky.

DAY 07: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife at their most active. Experience the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro. The cool morning hours are ideal for spotting wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, lions and hyenas. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Leisure time to relax at the lodge/camp or explore the lodge's amenities. Have lunch at the lodge/camp. Optional visit to a local Maasai village to learn about the Maasai culture and traditions. Afternoon game drive to explore more of Amboseli's landscapes and wildlife. Don't forget to capture stunning photos of the scenery and animals. Return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.Dinner and overnight at Nyati safari camp.

DAY 08: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI

After breakfast, Check out and transfer back to Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home. End of safari.
