Day 01: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Nairobi in the early morning and drive north through the central highlands towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Africa’s leading wildlife conservation areas. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive, where you may spot members of the Big Five especially black and white rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and lions. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya, and learn about rescued chimpanzees living in a protected environment. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight surrounded by the wild sounds of the African bush.
Day 02: Ol Pejeta Full Day Safari Experience
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, catching wildlife at their most active. Traverse diverse landscapes from acacia dotted savannahs to riverine forests and encounter cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and the rare Grevy’s zebra. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild or return to camp for a midday break. In the late afternoon, head out again for a sunset game drive, capturing golden hour photos and tracking predators. For the adventurous, an optional night game drive reveals nocturnal species like aardvarks, genets, and bush babies. Dinner & Overnight at your booked lodge or tented camp.
Day 03: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Ol Pejeta after breakfast and drive through Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, pausing at scenic viewpoints before arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park. After checking in and enjoying lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive across the park’s wooded and open grasslands. Discover large herds of buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, and both black and white rhinos. Keep your camera ready for the park’s famous flamingos, which gather along the lake’s edges. The park is also a great spot for leopard sightings. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp inside or near the park.
Day 04: Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, depart for the majestic Masai Mara National Reserve, driving across scenic plains and small towns. Arrive in time for lunch at your safari camp or lodge, nestled in or near the reserve. In the late afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara, known for its high density of big cats. Spot lion prides, elephant herds, cheetahs, and possibly even a leopard lounging in the trees. As the sun sets over the expansive savannah, return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives & Maasai Village
Today is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara’s vast plains. After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with picnic lunch in the park. Follow the Mara River in search of hippos, crocodiles, and dramatic predator prey action. This region is the stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal, July–October), but wildlife is abundant year-round. Visit iconic spots like the Mara Triangle or Olare Orok Conservancy. In the afternoon, visit a Maasai village to learn about traditional customs, warrior dances, and community life. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Masai Mara to Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast and an optional short morning game drive, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). This marks the end of your enriching Kenya wildlife safari with Eco Path Adventures, filled with diverse ecosystems, unforgettable encounters, and deep cultural insights.
